How to Host a Victorian Tea Party Ideas Recipes hosting Victoria Tea Party Planning Ideas Recipes

Tea parties are very popular now and people always comment on how they like mine, so I thought I would share some of my ideas with you. A Victorian Tea Party would be the most elegant of all. Everything in the Victorian era was generously. So break your porcelain grandmothers, silver, crystal and serving pieces. The smarter, better. Of course, if you have a truly precious possession that would break the heart if it was damaged, please do not use for the party. Accidents happen! Before coming to your house ready and prepare your food, you have to send the invitations.

INVITATION OF IDEAS

There are so many options here. With today's computer programs you can make some more beautiful home. Tuck a Bagin actual tea invitation. Maybe make some paper mats using scrapbooking supplies.

DECORATION AND SERVICE

You have to make the house as nice as possible. Fresh flowers are a must, use them everywhere. I had a birthday tea in early June and got glasses of peonies everywhere, they are beautiful. Use traditional pots, kettles or no longer have lids. Sometimes you can find then a bargain, since they no longer have a lid! Use candles and votive candles either dispersed or tea lights. I can use some of these luxury-shaped Christmas light that are currently sold in all sorts of ways. I have some more heart and some pretty flowers and even some dragonfly lights Play soft background music. There is even the CD's Tea Party music you can buy. To try to lace tablecloth or apricot. Silk rose petals spread on the table. Use bedding real estate or paper towels. I found some monogrammed napkins at an antique store in California last year. They were inexpensive I guess because not many people have an "O" monogram. Here is a picture of one with our heritage "O" consumption of my husbands grandmother.

I love the pedestal cake plates or serving pieces in levels. The glass plate with metal bleachers and a half to the right that I purchased at the Salvation Army. Cake plate with nails I bought for $ 1. It has a repair from the pedestal, but I cover with the corresponding fancy ribbon! Located on the cake plate is a nail Early American pressed glass candy dish. Bryce is a Highbee V pattern in the Heart of the decade 1800. I found $ 2.99 in my Salvation Army store! Only a couple of months! Be sure to use lots of scented candles, be creative their candelabra. Use mats or lace paper or its parts in serving.

Sorry I wish this picture was a little clearer. No salt beautiful silver teapot and pepper and honey green heart-shaped toothpick holder. Make sure you have a good drink or a glass in hand through the water. Perhaps not all his guests tea.

To use for serving sugar or cups of tea, or as party favors, be sure to see some of the demitasse spoons I sell. Are not they sweet! Attach them to a tea bag with a little satin ribbon and tea for the party dear. If you can find some bargains, give each guest a cup of tea to take home luxury.

YUMMY FOOD TO SERVE

Offer your customers a variety of flavors of tea. I leave in a basket lined. It is fun to use decorated sugar cubes and sugar tongs too!

TEA SANDWICHES

There are many varieties of sandwiches that can be used. Try to find a strong style bread, cut the crust and cut sandwiches diagonally or at which has two triangle sandwiches or 4 for a bit smaller sandwiches. Cucumber sandwiches have long been a tradition of the tea party. This is easy that everybody likes. Only softened cream cheese spread on bread and top with thinly sliced cucumbers. Simple. For a fall or Christmas time tea try turkey sandwiches and cranberry sauce. Use your favorite egg salad or chicken salad recipe. try adding almonds to your chicken salad recipe, yum! To other fillers can be used, watercress, tomatoes, cheese, sausage, smoked salmon or ham salad. Children softened cream cheese spread on bread and top with jelly cut with cookie cutter. At the top of the sandwich spread some softened cream cheese and dust with sprinkles! Here's mine:
